James F. McNulty, Jr.
James Francis McNulty, Jr. (born October 18, 1925) is a U.S. politician hailing from the Democratic party.
He was born in Boston, Massachusetts and attended college at the University of Arizona where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He was elected as a Democrat to the United States House of Representatives in 1982 and served from January 3, 1983 to January 3, 1985. Kolbe lost to McNulty by around 1600 votes when the 5th District was created, and won the district from McNulty two years later, when district ran about 60% for Ronald Reagan. Kolbe then went on to serve about 20 years in the district, eventually revealing that he was gay. He currently resides in Bisbee, Arizona.
