James Prendergast is executive director of Americans for Technology Leadership.
Prendergast wrote the Fox News article Massachusetts Should Close Down OpenDocument, in which he criticizes the decision of the state of Massachusetts to formally endorse OpenDocument formats for its public records. Fox News later published a follow-up article containing letters from several tech-savvy readers who disagreed with Prendergast. In the follow-up article, Fox News also noted that Prendergast did not disclose his affiliation with Microsoft in his article.
