James Thomson (born 18 February, 1988) is an
AFL footballer who plays for the West Australian club
Thomson was recruited from the local WAFL club Claremont. Standing at 194.1cm and weighing 81kg, Thomson can be used as a key defender or forward.
His father is the well known Nine Network Perth sport presenter Michael Thomson. His brother Dave is a well known West Australian fishing identity.
