Jane Johnson is an English fantasy and children's author who has written under various pseudonyms, such as Jude Fisher and Gabriel King.

From 1984 to 1992 she was the editor responsible for the Tolkien list at George Allen & Unwin Publishers, then Unwin Hyman, then HarperCollins, where she is also Publishing Director for the Voyager fantasy and science fiction list. Her authors there include Clive Barker, David Eddings, Raymond E. Feist, Robin Hobb, Dean Koontz, and George R. R. Martin.
