Jasika Nicole is an American actress and illustrator from Birmingham, Alabama. She studied dance, voice and theater at Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina.
Nicole portrays the character of Astrid Farnsworth in the TV series Fringe. She has been open about being a lesbian since she started dating women while she was filming Take the Lead.[1]
