Rock band from Spain JB was formed in the early '90s. Since 1986, its members had been playing in a band called Chinatown. The group's name is an abbreviation for Juerga and Borrachera, which synthesizes JB's way to make music, inspired by funny stories based on the musicians' own experiences. Singer and guitarist Luis Vicente, bassist Manolo Serrano, and drummer José decided to record a live performance in April 1994 and later released the recording as an album called JB en Revolver, in reference to the place where the group was playing. In 1998, JB recorded Tarde, Mal y Núnca, followed by 1999's Los Conciertos de JB. In the year 2000, the band released Mala Yerba Nunca Muere. ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
