Jean-Marc Alexandre (born August 24, 1986 in Verrettes[1]) is a Haitian soccer player who currently plays for Real Salt Lake in Major League Soccer.
Career
Youth and College
Alexandre grew up Delray Beach, Florida, attended Atlantic High School, and played college soccer at Lynn University. During his collegiate years he also played in the USL Premier Development League with Palm Beach Pumas and Ventura County Fusion.[2]
Professional
Alexandre was drafted in the first round (12th overall) in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft by Real Salt Lake.[3] He made his professional debut on 28 March 2009, coming on as a substitute in RSL's game against Seattle Sounders FC[4]. He was loaned out to USL-1 side Austin Aztex in May 2009.
International
Alexandre is a full international for Haiti, having played in three friendlies in 2008, starting against Honduras, and coming off the bench against Trinidad & Tobago twice.[5]
