Biography

French art director Jean D'Eaubonne worked with some of his country's most distinguished directors, especially for Jean Cocteau on such productions as Le Sang dun Poitel (1930). D'Eaubonne was formally trained to be a painter and a sculptor. He broke into films working as an assistant to production designer Lazare Meerson.
