Jean Sony Alcenat born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti on January 23, 1986 is a Haiti international footballer who plays midfielder for Portuguese Liga club Leixoes SC. Known as an aggressive player with a great first touch Jean Sony made his debut in top-flight football with Haiti powerhouse Aigle Noir AC in his homeland. After making his debut as a 17 year old he spent 4 seasons at the Port-au-Prince club before making a switch to Europe with UEFA hopefuls Leixoes SC.
Other clubs interested in the player were Malmo, Southampton FC, PAOK FC, and CFR Cluj but opted for a move to Portugal.
