Jeff Franklin (born January 21, 1955)[1] is an American television producer, writer, and director. He achieved most of his success in the 1980s and '90s, with family-oriented sitcoms like Full House, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper and Malcolm & Eddie.[1] He has also been involved in other situation comedies, including Gimme a Break!, Bosom Buddies, and Laverne & Shirley.[1] He got his start writing by helping out with a few episodes of Happy Days. His shows tend to have stand-up comedians in main roles and also tend to be set in the Bay Area of California. He has a company called Jeff Franklin Productions to produce shows created by him. He is the current owner of, "10066 Cielo Drive," Los Angeles, California, the location where the Manson Family Tate murders took place. The original house where the murders occurred in was torn down in 1994 and replaced by Franklin's current residence, a mansion called, "Villa Bella." Except for a lone telephone pole that exists from 1969 (which Tex Watson climbed over), the property today does not at all resemble the property at the time of the Tate murders.

Jeff Franklin Productions
Jeff Franklin Productions was a company which since the 1980s produced shows created and produced by Jeff Franklin. His production logo features a snowglobe on his desk with an animated sailboat in it with a studio audience laughing in the background. This logo can be seen at the end of every episode of Hangin' with Mr. Cooper while the company's name can be seen as part of the closing credits for Full House. The company shut down in 2003 due to Franklin partnering with Steve Waterman to form Franklin-Waterman Entertainment to produce Stuart Little at Sony Pictures Studios.
"Jeff's Snowglobe"
Jeff Franklin's production logo features a snowglobe on a desk, and next to it is a cup containing pencils and pens. The snowglobe contains an animated sailboat with Jeff Franklin's name appearing above the boat. In the background is a blackboard as if Jeff Franklin were a teacher. The music playing is a 3-note "island" tune with an acoustic guitar and some sleigh bells playing. That's why there is some snow falling inside the snowglobe itself. This logo was developed in 1992 by Jeff Franklin himself and the first show to use this closing logo was Hangin' with Mr. Cooper.
