Jem Poster
Jem Poster (born 1948) is a noted contemporary British poet and novelist.
Poster's poetry and prose have attacted widespread critical acclaim and he has won both the National Poetry Competition and the Cardiff Academi International Poetry Competition. Poster's poems and novels are informed by environmental and archaeological concerns and are characterised by a careful attention to natural detail and to the complexities of human passion.
Professor Poster is currently Director of Creative Writing at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth and a regular contributor to The Guardian newspaper.
