Biography

Trained at the Theatre Institute, 19-year-old Jenny Wright had already been acting for seven years when she made her off-Broadway bow in 1980's Album. The following year, Wright showed up as one of the groupies in that midnight-movie perennial Pink Floyd: The Wall. She went on to important roles in The World According to Garp (1982), St. Elmo's Fire (1983), and Lawnmower Man (1992). Jennifer G. Wright (born March 23, 1962) is an American actress who made her film debut portraying the role of Cushie in The World According to Garp in 1982. That same year she made an appearance in Pink Floyd The Wall, playing an American groupie.

Wright had roles in both The Wild Life as Eileen and St. Elmo's Fire as Felicia, She also starred with Anthony Michael Hall in the 1986 thriller film Out of Bounds, as Mae in the ensemble film with Adrian Pasdar 1987 cult horror classic Near Dark, and alongside Ilan Mitchell-Smith in the 1988 drama The Chocolate War, After Near Dark , she had a lead role in 1989's I, Madman, and small parts in the films, The Lawnmower Man and Young Guns II in 1990. Wright's last movie to date was playing little Natalie's mother in Enchanted (1998).
