Jerry Capeci

Jerry Capeci is a respected reporter of the mafia crime families of New York. He is America's foremost expert on the American Mafia, is sometimes a guest on network and cable television programs in the U.S. and Canada. A longtime reporter, columnist and author, he has written scores of news articles and feature stories about organized crime for newspapers and magazines around the world. He is the author and founder of the website Gang Land News, which contains information on all five families of the New York Mafia.

In addition to his website, he writes a regular column for The New York Sun entitled "Gang Land."

He has written such novels as The Last Gangster: Winning the War Against John Gotti and the Mob (co-authored with Gene Mustain) and The Complete Idiot's Guide to The Mafia.
