Jerry Hardin (born 20 November 1929) is an American actor who has made many television and film appearances. One of his most recognizable roles was that of the character Deep Throat in the series The X-Files. He played Mark Twain, in addition to numerous other roles in Star Trek: The Next Generation. He has also played Isaac Clark in the Sliders episode Revelations. Notable film roles include Earthquake, Mitchell, 1941, Reds, Missing, Cujo, The Falcon and the Snowman, The Milagro Beanfield War, The Firm, Ghosts of Mississippi and Hidalgo.

His daughter is actress Melora Hardin.
