3J (Jerry Jamal Jameson) was a supporting character on the sitcom, Family Matters, and he was portrayed by Orlando Brown.
Character Background
3J appears in the episode "My Big Brother" (aired on February 23, 1996), where we learn that his mother had put him up for adoption, and he is a Dyslexic, and had run away from the group, The Winslows decide to adopt 3J, and he is the supporting character from the eighth-ninth season, although he is a smart-alec, and rambunctious, Carl Winslow and Harriette Winslow seemed to learn that all he needs a family with lots of love, the Winslows eventually adopts 3J. 3J was also known for calling Urkel as the "Urk-man" and being pals with his friend Richie Crawford.
3J is preceded by two other family members of The Winslow Household, Judith Winslow (1989-1993), and Richie Crawford (1989-1997).
