Jilu Mandarin (simplified Chinese: 冀鲁官话; traditional Chinese: 冀魯官話; pinyin: jìlǔguānhuà) is a Mandarin dialect spoken in the Chinese provinces of Hebei and Shandong. Despite these areas being geographically located near Beijing, Jilu has a different accent and vocabulary from the Beijing dialect, which is the basis for Standard Mandarin, the standard Chinese spoken language.
