Jim Herrmann (born December 8, 1960 in Hollywood, California) is currently the linebackers coach for the New York Giants. He served the same position with the New York Jets from 2006 to 2008. Before arriving in New York, Herrmann was the defensive coordinator at the University of Michigan for nine seasons, and was awarded the Frank Broyles Award in 1997.
The Giants current defensive coordinator, Bill Sheridan, coached the linebackers at the University of Michigan while Herrmann was the defensive coordinator.
