Jim Taylor (born 1962 in Bellevue, Washington) is an Oscar-, Golden Globe- and BAFTA award-winning American screenwriter, best known as the writing partner of Alexander Payne. Together they have written:

Taylor is also one of the writers who worked on Jurassic Park III (2001). In 2006 he was linked to Tupperware!, a feature film about the early days of the Tupperware company, but will now not be writing the script.
