Jinhu (金湖鎮, meaning "golden lake") is an urban township of the Kinmen (Quemoy) group. It is in the Taiwan Strait, on the coast of Fujian. It has a population of 19,828 and an area of 41.6960 square kilometres. Geographically it is very near to Xiamen (Amoy). Administratively the island forms the Jinhu Township of the Kinmen County, Fujian Province of the Republic of China.
