Jiulong River

Wikipedia: Jiulong River

The Jiulong River or Jiulong Jiang (simplified Chinese: traditional Chinese: pinyin: Jiǔlóng Jiāng) is the largest river in southern Fujian, and the second largest in the province. Like all Fujianese rivers but one, it flows into the Taiwan Strait.

With a length of 258 km and a basin of 14,700 km², its furthest origin—the north branch beixi (北溪)-- is within the municipality of Longyan; the west branch xixi (西溪), almost as long, flows from Zhangzhou's Pinghe County.
