School Board of Alachua County

Wikipedia: School Board of Alachua County

Alachua County Public Schools is a public school district serving Alachua County, Florida, and the Gainesville Area. The district currently has a student population of 29,533. The school district has been criticized in the past for overcrowding and its lack of action to remedy this. For the 2003 school year new school zones were implemented to help ease over crowding at the high school and middle school level, there are several elementary schools, however, that are still over crowded.
