Jo Bench
Jo-Anne Bench is a death metal bass player from Leamington Spa, England[1]. She plays bass in Bolt Thrower on all albums, but not on the demos. She is a vegetarian since 1984[1].
Bench joined the band in 1987[1] shortly after Gavin Ward switched from bass guitar to guitar[2]. At the time, she was Ward's long-time girlfriend[3] and one of the few women playing in a death metal band, besides bands as Delirium, and Acrostichon.
