Joachim Funke (born July 19, 1953 in Düsseldorf, Germany) is professor for Experimental and Theoretical Psychology at the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and Marsilius fellow 2008/2009.

His research is directed to thinking and problem solving. For the Programme for International Student Assessment, computerized assessment tools for problem solving were developed.
