Joachimsthalsches Gymnasium

Joachimsthalsches Gymnasium, a classical grammar school founded in 1607 by the Elector Joachim Friedrich of Brandenburg in the town of Joachimsthal north-east of Berlin. In 1650 the school was transferred to Berlin, and in 1912 was removed to Templin, some 50 miles to the north.
