After living a lifetime of accomplishments in only 18 years, you might expect Jody Summer to be extremely happy. But you'd be wrong. Jody is one of those people who never feels that anything they do is good enough, despite astounding successes.At 14 she finished in fourth place in the dodecathalon at the Galactic Games -- not bad considering her competition was twice her age! At 16 she became one of only three people ever to ski across the largest section of ice on Europa Prime, the Delaney Ice Plateau. And when she was 18, Jody became only the second person to ever climb Olympus Mons, the largest mountain in known existence.
As Jody prepared for her next astounding achievement, the F-Zero championship, she received word that her father, Professor Masson Summer, had died as his spacecraft was landing at an engineering conference in the Leonid Sector. Dedicating her F-Zero career to her father, she would settle for nothing less than first place.
Fellow racer John Tanaka, who studied under Professor Masson Summer, is deeply in love with Jody -- though her feelings are not the same. She wishes that he would just go away and leave her alone. But it doesn't look like that will happen any time soon.
ABOUT HER MACHINE
White Cat is a uniquely designed craft that resembles a hammerhead shark. This unique design gives it astounding grip but only average body strength and boost. Judging by her previous accomplishments, however, Jody surely possesses the skills to adjust to White Cat's weaknesses and pull off several victories. But will it be enough for her to finally come in first?
