Veghe, Johannes (Münster, c.1431-1504, Münster), rector of the house of the ‘Brüder vom gemeinsamen Leben’ in Rostock and later (1475) in Münster, was an able preacher of mystical tendency, twenty-four of whose sermons in Middle Low German have been preserved. He is also in all probability the author of the Middle Low German allegorical tracts Een bloemlich beddiken (known in High German as Das geistliche Blumenbeet), edited by H. Rademacher in 1938, and Wyngarde der zele (Weingarten der Seele or Geistlicher Weingarten), published by the same editor in 1940.
