John Butler Smith (April 12, 1838 – August 10, 1914) was an American manufacturer and Republican politician from Hillsborough, New Hampshire. Born in 1838 in Saxtons River, Vermont, he served New Hampshire as a member of the Governor's Council, and as Governor. He died in 1914 in Hillsborough, New Hampshire.
