Biography

Cale (b. Dec 3, 1940) is the classically trained keyboardist and viola player who was one of the founding members of the Velvet Underground and has maintained a solo career for over a quarter century veering between pop/rock and more experimental forms. Neuwirth was Bob Dylan's road manager in the '60s and has made several folk-rock singer/songwriter albums over the years. ~ William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide
