John Mallory Asher (born John Mallory on January 13, 1971) is an American actor, director, writer and cinematographer.

He is perhaps best known for his performance as Gary, on the USA Networks' series spinoff of the movie Weird Science.

Biography

Asher was born in Los Angeles, California to actor Edward Mallory and actress Joyce Bulifant. He was adopted by Bulifant's third husband, producer/director William Asher^[1].

Asher married Jenny McCarthy on September 11, 1999 but the couple separated in 2005. They have an autistic son named Evan (born May 18, 2002).
