Toogood recently revealed he has been travelling around New Zealand to collaborate with other New Zealand artists for a project that is "extra-curricular" to Shihad's music. Confirmed collaborators include Tiki Taane, Ruban and Kody Neilson from the Mint Chicks, Julia Deans from Fur Patrol, Shayne Carter of Dimmer (band)/Straightjacket Fits fame and ladi6. Toogood says that music is set to become a collaboration record, and hopes to release a single before the end of 2009.[4]
