Joni Lamb (born Joni Trammell on July 19, 1960 in Greenville, SC) is a Christian broadcaster, co-founder, and vice-president and executive producer of the Daystar Television Network. She is also a producer, author, psalmist and talk show host. Lamb has been married to Marcus Lamb, who is the president and CEO of the Daystar network, since 1982. Soon after their marriage, they began traveling and ministering in churches in over 20 states.

In 1984, following God's specific guidance, the Lambs moved to Montgomery, Ala., to build WMCF-TV 45. The Lambs quickly gained recognition as "a new breed of televangelists," as one CBS News anchor put it. In 1990, they moved to Dallas, Texas, to build a new Christian television station. Through a series of miracles and divine favor, KMPX-TV 29 hit the airwaves in 1993 in the Dallas/Fort Worth market of over 4-million people.

Currently Daystar Television Network owns 70 stations and reaches 80 million homes the U.S., with over 1.1 billion viewers via satellite in over 200 countries from every part of the world. Daystar is the fastest growing and one of the two largest Christian Television Networks in the World.

Host of DayStar TV Shows

"JONI," a half hour program also hosted by Joni Lamb on Daystar, was named Best Television Talk Show of the Year by the National Religious Broadcasters Association (NRB) in 2004. The show, featured daily on Daystar Television Network, tackels a wide range of relevant issues, controverisal subjects and hard hitting news topics with candor and wit. Joni Lamb offers a fresh perspecitve on issues ranging from health and nutrition to divorce and alternative lifestyles.

"JONI" transcends denomination and race by focusing on the importance and relevance of the Gospel in today's society.

Marcus Lamb reported during the 2008 Share-A-Thon that Daystar had been contacted by Country Music Television(CMT), requesting and receiving permission to begin airing "JONI."

Marcus and Joni Lamb also host a daily television talk show on their network called “Celebration.” The show features various Christian guests from all over the country, such as Benny Hinn, Oral Roberts, and James Robison, as well as praise and worship music, and Christian news.

Joni Lamb is the author of "Surrender All: Your Answer to Living with Peace, Power and Purpose." Released in 2008, Joni Lamb shares stories about how the power of surrender changed her life and others.

Joni Lamb also hosts the annual Refreshing Times conference, which is held each year in the United States to offer hope and inspiration to attendees.

Private Life

Joni, Marcus and their three children Jonathan, Rachel and Rebecca reside in Dallas, Texas. Joni Lamb is a sought after conference speaker, and psalmist and ministers frequently with her husband Marcus throughout the country.
