Josef Pröll (born 14 September 1968 in Stockerau, Austria) is an Austrian politician and chairman of the Austrian People's Party. He currently serves as Vice Chancellor and Minister of Finance. Previously, he served as the Federal Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment, and Water Management. He is the nephew of Erwin Pröll. On the 28th November 2008 he was elected as new federal party chairman by 89.6% of delegates at a party confence in Wels.
