The Journal of Chemical Education (JCE) is a monthly, subscription-only periodical available in both print and electronic versions. JCE is published by the Division of Chemical Education of the American Chemical Society. The journal began publication in 1924.
JCE contains papers describing experiments and other techniques of use in teaching chemistry. Results of and reviews from educational research are also published, as are introductory articles on new concepts and techniques in chemistry. Many papers are geared toward undergraduate education.
The impact factor of this journal is 0.51 (2005).[1]
