Joy Ridderhof (March 30, 1903 - December 19, 1984) was a missionary. She was the youngest daughter of the six children of Nickolas and Anna Ridderhof. She was one of the first three graduates of the first class of Columbia Bible School (now Columbia International University, in Columbia, South Carolina) in 1923.
In 1930 Ridderhof went to Honduras as a missionary, but returned in 1936 due to illness. After her return, she started Gospel Recordings, whose mission is "Telling the Story of Jesus in Every Language" by recording the voices of native speakers translating Gospel messages into their native tongues. By 1964, she and her group had recorded Gospel messages in over 3,100 languages and dialects. Her travels took her to the Philippine Islands, Mexico, Alaska, Africa, Australia, Central America and South America.
After her death, Columbia Bible College named its new Media and Music Center the Joy Ridderhof Memorial Center.
Ridderhof wrote a devotional booklet called Are You Rejoicing?
