Judah Maccabee, also known as The Hammer of God, is a fictional warrior in the First Comics multiverse, appearing mostly in Nexus. He is a Thune, bearing a somewhat simian physiognomy. Judah is a skilled martial artist and a freelance adjudicator. He was gifted with the power of fusionkasting (drawing energy from stars for a variety of effects) and has an indestructible sword which absorbs energy and amplifies his power.
He is friend and occasional comrade-in-arms to John Gaunt, better known as Grimjack. When Gaunt was killed, Judah declared that Gaunt's tavern, Munden's Bar, was under his protection.
Judah likes nothing so much as bowling in his leisure time.
