Judge Alex is a United States syndicated courtroom television show that debuted September 12, 2005. The host/arbitrator is the Hon. Alex Ferrer, a former police officer, lawyer, and Florida judge. The show is produced in Houston at the television studios of Fox's KRIV (Channel 26), as was previously done with predecessor show Texas Justice. (The opening credits depict Ferrer in front of the Pasadena (CA) City Hall.) The show was brought to Twentieth Television by Executive Producers Burt Wheeler and Sharon Sussman. The pilot was shot at Tribune Studios in Hollywood, California, in November 2004. The series began production in January 2005 and is directed by Arthur Bergel.
Judge Alex wrapped its fifth season (2009-2010) in June, 2009.
