Julien Rinaldi (born April 27, 1979 in Villeneuve, France) is an French rugby league player for the Villeneuve Leopards in the Elite One Championship. Rinaldi is a French international. Julien Rinaldi's preferred position is scrum-half, however, he has spent most of his career at hooker.
Rinaldi plays for the Bradford Bulls he was playing in Australia for the Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles before linking up with Bradford until June.[1] He has previously played for the Catalans Dragons in their début season and also the clubs previous incarnation. Rinaldi has previously sampled the Super League with the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.
Rinaldi played much of the 2006 season at hooker, due to Stacey Jones and Michael Dobson filling the scrum half role at the Perpignan club.
He was named in the France squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.[2]
He has joined the Villeneuve Leopards for the Elite One Championship 2009 and 2010 season.
