Plot
Nick Marck directs this sequel to Disney's 1994 live-action adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book. Released in 1998, Jungle Book: Mowgli's Story is a prequel to the original, following the early adventures of Mowgli and his animal friends. Taking on the role previously played by Jason Scott Lee, Brandon Baker dons the loincloth of the preadolescent Mowgli in this straight-to-video family film. Jungle Book: Mowgli's Story is a direct-to-video release from Disney Home Entertainment. It chronicles the story of Mowgli (Brandon Baker) from the time he was 5 living among humans to when he was 12 and rediscovering humans again.
Mowgli's village is attacked by Shere Khan (voiced by Sherman Howard) and he gets lost in the ruckus and runs into the jungle. There he meets all his jungle friends and they have adventure after adventure.
Towards the ending he sees humans, but decides to stay away and will join them later.
