Plot
This documentary released through Goldhil Home Media International chronicles the history of the vast conquering civilization known as the Roman Empire. This program also details the influence that ancient Rome has had on the art, architecture, and language of subsequent civilizations throughout Europe, North Africa, western Asia, and the United States. As noted in this video, the empire lasted a thousand years, and collapsed due to its corruptions, fatal errors, and attacks from tribes it could not dominate.
