Biography

After spending a number of years in various Bay Area bands such as Airborne and Ursa Minor, the man simply known as Billy K. would eventually embark on his own solo career in 1998. With more of a quirky hybrid of surf rock and Mediterranean blues influences to go along with his singer/songwriter presence, Billy K. would eventually capture this sound on his own Chigoun Records through his 1999 debut EP, Daybreak at Naoussa. ~ Mike DaRonco, All Music Guide
