Kaiserjäger

Kaiserjäger, four Austrian regiments of Tyrolean Rifles, the first of which was raised in 1816. They were highly regarded in the Austrian and Austro-Hungarian empires, and were trained in mountain warfare. They were disbanded at the end of the 1914-18 War.
