Kalamansig is a 1st class municipality in the province of Sultan Kudarat, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 44,645 people in 8,640 households.
The main means of livelihood of the people is farming and fishing.
Transportation in the town is difficult since national roads have not been well-developed. Travelling by sea is more convenient.

History
- Kalamansig is a Manobo term "Kulaman-sa-ig" which means "Manobo of the Water. It was proclaimed as a municipality through the Executive Order No. 459 of Former President Carlos P. Garcia.
Economy
- Surrounded with bodies of water and blessed with many marine resources, most of the inhabitants are hooked to FISHING as the primary source of income.
