Karl Groom is a British guitarist and producer mostly known as founding member of the progressive metal band Threshold.
Work
During his career Groom also played in the band Shadowland, took part in the progressive rock supergroup Casino, and contributed to 'MyEarthDream' by Edenbridge. He also did production and engineering work for albums of the bands Arena, ShadowKeep, Intense and Pendragon ( his Shadowland bandmate Clive Nolan played keyboards for Arena and Pendragon) as well as for John Wetton and the power metal band DragonForce. Karl also engineered, co-produced, mixed, edited and mastered New Progressive Rock Band Galahad's 2007 album 'Empires Never Last', as well as playing guitar on two of the tracks.
