Karl Liebknecht Stadion is a multi-use stadium in Potsdam-Babelsberg, Germany. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam and SV Babelsberg 03 who is currently playing in thh Regionalliga Nord (3. highest league in Germany). The stadium holds a bit over 9,000 people after security changes were made before it was nearly 15,000. The highest Attendance was nearly 15,000 when SV Babelsberg 03 played against Union Berlin and Hertha BSC Berlin.Also is the Karl Liebknecht Stadium Place of the highest Victory of the GDR National team with 9:0 against Malta and one UEFA Cup final was held here when Turbine Potsdam won the Cup against a swedish team.
