As a singer and dancer for over 20 years, becoming an F-Zero pilot was the last thing Kate Alen expected, though she had always longed for more than her musical career. Born into a family of recording artists, Alen and her 11 siblings first started out in the "Alen Eleven," a performing child group of which Kate was the youngest.At 21, Kate left to start a solo career, churning out hit after hit after hit with no end in sight. But she still wasn't happy, the constant recording and touring starting to grow old. During one of her tours, Kate was put into an F-Zero machine and told to run a few laps as a publicity stunt. Little did her promoters realize the mistake they had just made as she immediately quit singing and began training for the F-Zero championship. After studying at the F-Zero X GP Academy, she was ready to race with an already huge fan base to support her.

An above-average vehicle, the Super Piranha has a strong body, acceptable boost power and a solid amount of grip. This well-rounded vehicle gives Alen a good starting point to begin her career as an F-Zero pilot.
