Katie Sagona (born November 26, 1989) is an American actress. She acted in a series of films and TV shows throughout the 1990s and 2000s, including You've Got Mail, In Dreams, Grumpier Old Men, Black and White, and she also played Johnny Depp's daughter in Donnie Brasco.
Her film mothers have included Academy award-nominee Annette Bening, Daryl Hannah, Anne Heche, and Katerine Erbe. Her film fathers have included Johnny Depp, Aidan Quinn, and Kevin Pollack.
She was a Ford Model, having graced many magazines with top models. She's appeared in Italian Vogue, and in print for Versace among many others. Her countenance also appears on toy boxes, packaging, etc, including Hasbro, Playskul.
She attended Park Ridge High School in New Jersey, where she was an honor roll student. She also attended Eastern Christian High School the same school that actress Bethany Joy Galeotti and all three Jonas Brothers attended. She has a younger brother named Steven, who is also an actor, who appeared on Conan O'Brien in a monthly skit over the course of a year and a half. Steven was also a Ford Model and actor and who has appeared in print and on TV along with his sister at times. Today Steven, along with his friend Jason Bencivengo, makes independent comedies. Steven is currently a student at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey where he studies Theoretical Physics.
Katie was a member of the Times Square Church Children's Choir, track athlete in hurdles and high jump. She is an accomplished archer and accomplished in riflry. She is also a youth counselor at Camp Cherith in the Aidrondacks, and is active in humanitarian causes.
She also participated in 'Hollywood For Children, a non-profit organization of Hollywood actors dedicated to helping Children. (www.audreyhepburn.com) The Foundation was started by Audrey Hepburn and is still currently run by her family.
As of August 2008, Katie enrolled at American University, where she's obtaining a degree in international studies/diplomacy and acting. She's currently studying in DC, interning at Fox News directly under their Capitol Hill senior producer and is commuting to NYC and LA for acting.
