Kerinchi Pylon
Kerinchi Pylon is an electricity pylon located near Menara Telekom in Kerinchi, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. At 210 metres, this electricity pylon is the tallest in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. An interesting fact is, that Kerinchi Pylon is in opposite to other electricity pylons of comparable height, like those of Elbe Crossing 2 not used for a powerline crossing of a wide waterway and that it is just a single structure ( why is it so tall?). Kerinchi Pylon is also recorded in the Malaysia Book of Records. It was built by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) in the middle of 1999.
