The Geographic Locality

The State of Khenchela located in North-East of Algeria, specifically in the area of the Al-Auras Mounties, it's a state No. 40 in the administrative division of Algeria has emerged as that after the partition of 1984, this state are located between Tebessa in the east and Batan in the west, Oum Elbaouki in the north and Biskra & Wadi Souf in the south. Believed that the city derived it name from the name of the daughter of Queen TAMAZIGHT Bihia known to the Arabs as a Priestess.

Khenchela Famous Shawi old rich heritage and it is the first stronghold of the revolution in the Algerian Liberation, on it was first bullet against the occupation, and there are a text noteworthy that the broad majority of the population of the state are SUBSTITUTING.
