Korean family of painters. (1) Kim Ch'ang-op was the fourth son of the prime minister ( yong'uijong) Kim Su-hang (1629-89) and younger brother of Kim Ch'ang-jip (1648-1722), who also served as prime minister. (2) Kim Yun-gyom was the son of a concubine of Kim Ch'ang-op.
