Character Bio

The heir to King, King II simply shortened his name to read the same as the original's. Like the first, the new King was an orphan. He had been brought up at King I's orphanage and, so as to honor his mentor, adopted his persona. He even followed his predecessor's footsteps by working at the orphanage and eventually becoming its manager.

King also realized that he couldn't be just like the original, based on his memories. This led him to find Armor King, who took part in the first two King of the Iron Fist Tournaments. Armor King mentored King for four years, after which the student became a skillful wrestler. Following the four years of training, Armor King tearfully divulged a secret to his student -- that the original King was killed by Ogre, the "God of Fighting." This angered the new King greatly, and he entered the third King of the Iron Fist Tournament with the intention of avenging his mentor's death.
